Gary Writing Again, Claims Writing Lyrics Goes Back To 2003
Gary has admitted recently that he has begun writing lyrics again, and has begun to get equipment together for recording. He has not recorded a sample since January 2009.
Gary claims that he begun writing lyrics during his junior year in college, specifically during Fall 2003. "I remember scribbling lyrics down on my notebook during the bus rides to and from URI that Fall. That was the first time I was accurately able to be alone and put random thoughts down in the form of songs. Thoughts seems to come to me at different times, and always without warning. They are always sudden urges of daydreams or random thoughts. It's easier for me to write lyrics like that, rather than sit down and try to force words," Gary says.
In recent days, he has begun to find and gather old recording equipment and begin practicing guitar again. He says he wants to buy his dream guitar, an Epiphone, some time in the coming weeks. "I haven't had a new electric guitar since 2006. It's time. It's overdue. I want to be a musician again, a writer again." Maybe this Fall will allow him to get back to that world again.
